I offer Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Pregnancy, Aromatherapy, and Intraoral Massage. I specialize in therapeutic relaxation and restoration addressing not only the Physical Body but the Emotional, Mental, Energetic, and Spiritual Bodies for overall healing to take place. I understand the therapeutic benefits of massage and that trauma gets stuck in the body. I love being able to help my clients release pain and experience relief and have an overall relaxing introspective experience. I hope to share my knowledge with my clients about how our bodies speak to us.
Massage Therapy involves manipulating the body’s soft tissues to help manage a health condition or enhance wellness. Massage techniques are applied with hands, fingers, elbows, forearms, and/or tools. The goal of Swedish Massage is to melt away muscle tension and increase the blood flow to your heart. Swedish Massage is extremely therapeutic as it decreases muscle toxins, increases oxygen levels in the blood, and improves flexibility in the body. Deep Tissue Massage reaches deeper layers of muscles. It is used to break down knots and relieve pressure points throughout the body.
What does Massage treat?
• BODY PAIN - Pain, including muscle tension, back, shoulder, neck pain, old injuries and old surgeries
• EMOTIONAL PAIN - Depression, stress, anxiety, sleep disorders and other forms of emotional pain that can also affect IBS, constipation and digestion
• Repetitive stress injuries
• Headaches and migraines
Cupping is an ancient Chinese method of clearing local congestion/stagnation within the body with negative pressure, rather than tissue compression. Cupping therapy uses suction cups on the skin to create suction, bringing blood flow and nutrition to stagnant areas, and facilitates healing. It has been found to be a very effective form of myofascial release. Cupping pulls stagnation, waste, and toxins to the skin level to be flushed out by the lymphatic and circulatory system. Cupping is useful, safe, and may relieve muscle tension, and promote cell repair. It may also help form new connective tissue and create new blood vessels in the tissue. Can be added to any massage treatment to enhance its results. No additional charge for this service.
Gua Sha is a traditional Chinese medical treatment in which the skin is scraped to alleviate fluid stagnation and produce light sha, blood brought to the surface. Practitioners believe gua sha releases unhealthy elements from injured areas and stimulates blood flow and healing. No additional charge for this service.
A BMB Session is a guided immersion journey where I walk you into your quiet deeper mind that is just below your conscious mind to access the storehouse of information that has specific healing information for you.
As a BMB Practitioner, I offer a deep understanding of what contributes to our emotional, physical and spiritual health via education and awareness of the body-mind wiring and connection and how thoughts contribute to physical stress, impacting the health and function of the brain and body. With my guidance, you can learn to access, address, and heal from the mental and emotional stresses and wounds that your body has held inside. I help to unite the awareness of your physical body with the power of your mind, which often leads to the relief of chronic pain and to positive life changes.
This is offered over Zoom in the comfort of your home. Please allow a couple hours for the session and integration.
Reiki is a form of energy healing targeting the energy fields around the body. Energy can stagnate in the body with physical injury or emotional pain. These energy blocks can lead to illness in the body. Reiki is an ancient Japanese Healing art for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes self-healing and inner peace. Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement applied through gentle touch by a trained practitioner. It is a wonderful compliment to massage therapy.
